This programme aims to replace the existing in-efficient conventional tube light fittings and Ceiling fans with Energy Efficient LED Tube lights and BEE’s 5-Star rated BLDC Ceiling Fans in Govt. Primary Health Centers / Hospitals.

NMEEE Programmes

TANGEDCO as TNSDA had implemented National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) programme in 156 nos. Primary Health Centres / Govt. Hospitals across the state during 2023-24 by way of replacing the existing inefficient appliances (5145 nos. tube lights and 2486 nos. fans) with Energy Efficient LED Tube lights and BEE’s five Star rated BLDC ceiling fans from the fund of Bureau of Energy Efficiency/MoP.
